9 Reasons Why Millennial Parents Have No Chill

You know her, I know her, heck we all know her: the millennial mom who is basically the super mom whose life looks like a real, 3D Pinterest board. Her child’s bento box looks like it comes straight out of a Pixar movie. Her children’s wardrobe is always perfect and spot on and their family vacation photos on Facebook look like an idyllic dream come true (because swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas or snowboarding in Vail is like NBD).

Simply put, us Millennial parents like to do things bigger, better and more put together than our parents. Thanks to our social media addiction, us millennial parents are the “Tiger moms”, “Helicopter moms”, “crunchy moms” and “free-range parent”, just to name a few. In other words, we are the go-getter moms.

Let’s face it: the majority of our family photos are on our smart phone (and filtered to perfection), we’ve most likely breastfed until our child’s second birthday and yes, a lot of us are stay-at-home moms, too! We also have a love and hate relationship with social media. You either share your entire world on Instagram or you completely shun it.

A lot of people also think that we are a generation of entitled brats, but that’s not the case at all. Some of us just like to do things a little better than others. And of course, post it online, too. I guess you can say we have no chill whatsoever!
